  Visitor Information

 The Philosphy of Conservation in the minds of the different tribes of the state can be gauzed by the different PAs set up all over the state for the proper scientifica management of the different species of wildlife and their habitats ranging from the high mountains of Himalayas to the flood plains of tributaries of the mighty Brahmaputra. There are 2 (two) National Parks, 7 ( seven) Wildlife Sanctuaries, 1 (one) Biosphere Reserve, 1 (one) Orchid Sanctuary, 2 (two) Proposed Wildlife Sanctuaries, 2 (two) Tiger Reserves, 1 (one) Elephant Reserve, 1 (one) Proposed Elephant Reserve in Arunachal Pradesh namely: -

(a) National Parks: i. Namdapha NP and ii. Mouling NP,

(b) Wildlife Sanctuaries: - i. Eaglenest WLS, ii. Pakke WLS (earstwhile Pakhui WLS), iii. Itanagar WLS, iv. D Ering Memorial WLS, v. Mehao WLS, vi. Dibang WLS and vii. Kamlang WLS,

(c) Orchid Sanctuary: Sessa Orchid Sanctuary,

(d) Biosphere Reserve: Dihang Dibang Biosphere Reserve,

(e) Proposed Wildlife Sanctuaries: (i) Kane WLS and (ii) Yordi Rabe Supse WLS,

(f) Tiger Reserves: (i) Namdapha TR in Namdapha National Park and (ii) Pakke Tiger Reserve in Pakke Wildlife Sanctuary and

(g) Elephant Reserves: Kameng Elephant Reserve and another Elephant Reserve namely, Deomali Elephant Reserve is coming up.
